Founded in 2021 in Canary Wharf, London, CANTING brings the bold, comforting flavors of Northeastern China to a modern urban setting. Inspired by traditional iron-pot stews (tieguo dun), our dishes celebrate slow cooking, deep flavors, and family-style warmth.
Our signature offerings include the hearty Dongbei Mixed Stew, fiery Spicy Lamb Spine Pot, and the tangy, satisfying Pickled Cabbage Hotpot — all simmered to perfection in traditional cast-iron pots.
To complement the feast, we serve classic cold plates like Northeastern Jelly Pork (pídòng) and refreshing Northern-style appetizers such as smashed cucumber, wood ear salad, and laohu cai (spicy herb salad).
